Emerald Sporades by sail & bike 

Adventure combines two of Greece's greatest pleasures—cycling and sailing—into one unforgettable journey. Discover the unspoilt coastline of Northern Evia and the lush green Sporades Islands, where secluded beaches, charming fishing villages, pine-covered hills and quiet roads create the perfect setting for an active holiday. With just six guests onboard, this is a truly intimate and personalised experience. Every detail has been carefully designed to blend exceptional cycling, relaxed sailing, authentic Greek hospitality and unforgettable moments, creating a holiday that is as rewarding as it is unique. More than simply a cycling holiday or a sailing trip, this is an immersive journey through some of Greece's most beautiful and least-discovered regions—where every day brings a new road to ride, a new bay to swim in, and a new harbour to explore.

Itinerary
Day 1 – Chalkida → Loutra Edipsou
Approximate Sailing Time: 5–6 hours (including swim stop)
Meet your skipper and crew in historic Chalkida before departing north through the Evian
Gulf. We'll stop for our first swim at the beautiful Melounia Islets before continuing to the
famous spa town of Loutra Edipsou, renowned since Roman times for its natural thermal
springs.
Day 2 – Loutra Edipsou → Oreoi
Morning Ride- Edipsou – Loutra Gialtron – Edipsou
35 km | 323 m climbing
Our first ride is a gentle introduction through olive groves, traditional villages and quiet
coastal roads overlooking the Evian Gulf. Along the route there is the opportunity to visit a
local winery and sample some of Northern Evia's excellent wines before returning to the
yacht.
Approximate Sailing Time: 3–4 hours
Cruise to the stunning Lichadonisia Islands, often described as the "Caribbean of Greece",
where turquoise waters and white sand create one of Greece's most spectacular swimming
spots. Continue north to the charming harbour of Oreoi, with the chance of spotting dolphins,
sea turtles and even the rare Mediterranean monk seal.

Day 3 – Oreoi → Skiathos
Morning Ride
27 km | 423 m climbing
Today's ride explores the peaceful villages and rolling countryside of Northern Evia,
following quiet inland roads through forests, farmland and traditional Greek villages before
returning to Oreoi.
Approximate Sailing Time: 4–5 hours
Cross into the Sporades, sailing past historic Cape Artemisio, site of the famous naval battle
between the Greeks and Persians during the Persian Wars. Arrive via the world-famous
Koukounaries Beach before mooring in the lively harbour of Skiathos Town, where you'll
have the evening free to enjoy its vibrant waterfront restaurants and cafés.
Day 4 – Skiathos → Skopelos
Morning Ride
30 km | 461 m climbing
Explore the beautiful island of Skiathos by bike, riding through fragrant pine forests to some
of the island's most famous beaches, including Koukounaries and Agia Eleni, with
magnificent views across the Aegean.
Approximate Sailing Time: 2–3 hours
A relaxed afternoon sail brings us to the lush green island of Skopelos, famous for its
traditional villages, crystal-clear waters and as one of the filming locations for Mamma Mia!
Day 5 – Skopelos → Alonissos
Morning Ride
45 km | 950 m climbing
Today's ride is one of the highlights of the week, climbing through forests to the beautiful
hilltop village of Glossa before descending along spectacular coastal roads with panoramic
sea views.
Approximate Sailing Time: 2–3 hours

Cruise into the National Marine Park of Alonissos, Europe's largest protected marine
reserve, with opportunities to swim in secluded bays before arriving in the peaceful harbour
of Patitiri.
Day 6 – Alonissos → Thapsa Beach Evia
Morning Ride
38 km | 900 m climbing
Cycle the length of beautiful Alonissos, passing through fragrant pine forests, quiet mountain
roads and the charming Old Village (Chora), with breathtaking views over the Aegean
throughout the ride.
Approximate Sailing Time: 5–6 hours
Begin the return journey towards Evia, stopping for swims in crystal-clear waters before
anchoring overnight at the magnificent Thapsa Beach, one of Greece's hidden gems. This
evening we'll celebrate the end of our adventure with a special farewell dinner onboard
beneath the stars.
Day 7 – Thapsa → Kymi
Approximate Sailing Time: 3–4 hours
Enjoy a leisurely final morning sail along Evia's dramatic east coast before arriving in the
traditional harbour of Kymi, often referred to as the "Balcony of the Aegean."
After disembarkation, a group transfer is provided back to Athens.

10 Night package
The 10-night itinerary follows the same route through Northern Evia and the Sporades while
allowing additional time and flexibility to enjoy swimming, hiking, relaxed sailing and
longer cycling adventures or the opportunity to add one or two extra destinations .

The itinerary shown is intended as a guide and may be adjusted throughout the week
according to wind direction, sea conditions and weather forecasts. Our experienced skipper
will always choose the safest and most enjoyable route, while ensuring there are plenty of
opportunities for exceptional cycling, swimming and discovering the hidden beauty of Evia
and the Sporades.
